Tavern Heroes

Tavern Heroes is an RPG/strategy combo where you have to try to bring together a group of heroes to fight tons of enemies. These adventures will transport you to faraway lands full of danger.

One of the best things about Tavern Heroes is the variety and originality of its heroes. From the beginning you get some rather odd heroes, like a small alien that can launch missiles at enemies. Eventually, though, you can recruit heroes who look suspiciously like Hellboy, Kratos, Yoda, and Lara Croft, among others.

The combat system in Tavern Heroes is the usual for this subgenre. Your characters always automatically attack the closest enemy, while it's your job to activate the special abilities, or even super-special abilities (if you charge up enough).

Between battles, you can buy equipment for your heroes. If you can find all the pieces of equipment necessary for a hero, you can make him level up and become much more powerful. You can also give them different types of food to get different results.

Tavern Heroes is a great strategy RPG for Android. Despite using an old formula, it still manages to provide some strokes of originality. Plus the game has pretty nice graphics, which is always appreciated.
